Ákos Kriston

He graduated from the Budapest University of Economics in 2001. He started his professional career at KPMG’s Frankfurt office in Germany and later continued his work at the firm’s Hungarian branch. He joined Deloitte's financial advisory division in 2006. From there, he moved to MVM Ltd. in 2011, where he supported the company's operations first as a business development specialist and later as a department head. From 1 October 2013, in his role as Deputy CEO and member of the Board of Directors at Hungarian Gas Storage Ltd., he was responsible, among other things, for overseeing the finance, accounting, sales, regulatory, and support functions. Since 1 July 2020, he has served as the CEO of the Company. As a leader, he firmly believes in his team, the future of energy storage, the growing role of hydrogen and the power of common sense.
