As promised at the kick-off workshop of the Aquamarine Project, Hungarian Gas Storage Ltd (HGS) continued the workshop series and held the Aquamarine Project Workshop II on 1 October 2021, online again. The main goal of the Aquamarine Workshop II was to provide information to the organisations concerned by supporting and licensing the project. Ákos Kriston, CEO of HGS opened the workshop and gave a welcome speech.

During the Workshop, HGS’s Aquamarine team described how the project ties in with the hydrogen strategy of the European Union, Hungary and the MVM Group, also covering the technical content and current status of the project, together with the state of plans regarding the site installation of key equipment supplied by Ganzair Ltd. Following this, 1st milestone research results related to the project were presented in active cooperation with the universities and institutions involved in the project:

   University of Miskolc EIKI (Research Institute of Electronics and Information Technology)

               University of Debrecen

               University of Pannonia

               Budapest University of Technology and Economics
