MFGT Daily Peak Plus Natural Gas Injection Service Offer

Hungarian Gas Storage Ltd (MFGT) issues today a call for tenders for booking available, additional, firm, daily Injection storage capacities for the period from 06:00 a.m. on 27 July 2018 until 06:00 a.m. on 17 August 2018 of the storage year 2018/2019. 

MFGT considers this capacities offer as a one-time offer and does not guarantee that capacities will also be offered under the same terms and conditions in the future.

Quantity, period and price of additional capacities offered:

MFGT offers Daily Peak Plus Injection capacities with the following parameters:

1. The following capacity can be booked for the period from 06:00 a.m. on 27 July 2018 to 06:00 a.m. 17 August 2018:

    

   100 000 000 kWh / day

    

2. Fee of capacities offered:

    

   HUF 0.325 + VAT/ kWh / day, excluding volume fees

    

   This service is available to System Users with Natural Gas Storage Contract for the storage year 2018/2019.

    

    

   Procedures for submitting capacity requests:

   Daily Peak Plus Service for the gas day following the ongoing gas day:

   In order to use Daily Peak Plus Injection capacities on the next gas day, System User shall register its additional Injection capacity request on MFGT’s IT Platform (SMCS “Daily Capacity” interface) at the latest until 04:00 on the preceding gas day. The description of the electronic system is contained in Annex No. 1.

   Insofar as the System User fulfils this condition, the hourly capacity corresponding to the total Daily Peak Plus capacity requested for the next day is made available for the System User.

   For the following gas days, the requested Daily Peak Plus capacity can be increased even several times but not decreased by the System User.

    

     

   Daily Peak Plus Service within the ongoing gas day:

   In as far as the system user registers its additional Daily Peak Plus Injection capacity request after the deadline of 04:00 for the following gas day or within the gas day after 06:00 on MFGT’s IT Platform (SMCS “Daily Capacity” interface), MFGT will perform the request in line with the rules of re-nomination, at least after two full gas hours from accepting the request.

   Out of the System User’s Daily Peak Plus capacity requested within the ongoing gas day, only the hourly capacity of the remaining hours will be made available by MFGT, that is the Daily Peak Plus capacity of the gas day’s already elapsed gas hours cannot be carried over to the remaining gas hours.

   MFGT’s IT Platform (SMCS) will display a related warning message following the Daily Peak Plus capacity booking.

    

   Within the ongoing gas day, the Daily Peak Plus capacity requested within the day can be increased even several times but not decreased by the System User.

   In case of each increase, MFGT performs the requested Daily Peak Plus capacity in line with the rules of re-nomination, at least after two full gas hours from accepting the request.

   The basis of settling the Daily Peak Plus service within the ongoing gas day shall in any case be the total Daily Peak Plus capacity requested, regardless of the hourly Daily Peak Plus capacity not used in the elapsed hours, that is twenty-four times the highest requested Daily Peak Plus hourly capacity.

   (To help understand the settlement mechanism of the fee payable in relation to the Daily Peak Plus capacity used within the gas day, we attached an illustrative example to this announcement notice (Annex No. 2).

   Only the contact person(s) specified in the contract shall be entitled to register in connection with the Daily Peak Plus Injection capacity product.

    

   Evaluation of capacity requests:

    

   MFGT shall fulfill the System Users’ capacity booking requests on a first-come, first-served basis.

    

   By this procedure, MFGT can ensure that the largest available free capacity is accessible for the System Users for booking at any time on the IT Platform (SMCS).

    

   MFGT explicitly reserves the right to declare the capacity booking procedure unsuccessful within its own scope of competence.

    

    

Modification and settlement of capacity requests:

The amount of Daily Peak Plus Injection capacities booked by the System User shall depend on capacity bookings submitted by the System User – and accepted by MFGT. If the System User’s request is accepted by MFGT, a specific contract on using Daily Peak Plus Injection capacities is concluded by and between the parties for the relevant day.

The basis of settlement shall be the amount of Daily Peak Plus capacity accepted by MFGT, and following the first registration and confirmation of the request by the client on MFGT’s IT Platform, the Daily Peak Plus Injection capacity requested and accepted cannot be reduced.

Payment and guarantee conditions, along with the financial guarantees shall be determined according to the Code of Business Conduct of MFGT and the agreement between the contracting Parties.

Following the reference month, MFGT shall issue the invoice based on capacity requests submitted by the System User and accepted by MFGT. The total sum of volume fees shall be invoiced pursuant to the Tariff Decree, each month upon the actual monthly volume turnover.
